What you will need for this tutorial:

Supplies

The artwork used in this tutorial is by me. You can buy a license to use my work at DH Image Licensing
The background image supplied was created by me feel free to share.

Open the Background into PSP
Create a new canvas 600x400
Choose a tube to use

Right Click on the background supplied and copy
Right Click on the canvas and Paste as New Layer
Lower the opacity of this level to 50%
Main Menu>Image>Rotate Left
Right Click on the canvas again and Paste as New Layer
Main Menu>Image>Rotate Right

Select the bottom patterned layer
Right Click on your tube and copy
Resize your tube if necessary

Select your shape tool and draw a rectangle around your tube
Width 5 Stroke colour Black Fill colour transparent
Right Click on the layer with the rectangle and choose Convert to Raster Layer

Grab your Magic Wand
Select outside of the rectangle (if necessary on both sides if the rectangle touches the top and bottom of the screen
First Click on one of your background layers and hit the delete key
Then repeat for the other

Layers>New Raster Layer
Select your fill tool fill colour of white with the texture brick wall. Angle - 0 scale - 10
Selections>Select None
Layers>New Raster Layer
Fill this layer Black and drag below the bricks

Make you tube layer active
Using your Magic Wand again select around your tube
Main Menu>Selections>Invert
If your tube stretches all the way over the bottom of the rectangle remove part of your selection using the lasso with the setting remove



Select your rectangle layer and hit the delete key. This should remove any of it that crosses your tube
Selection>Select None

Now we are going to create the poster on the wall



Layers>New Raster Layer
Select your shape tool set to rectangle again
Make the Fill colour white texture crumpled paper and the stroke colour to transparent
Draw a small rectangle over on the right hand piece of wall
Paste your tube as a New Layer again and resize so it fits in the bottom corner of the paper on the wall
Layers>New Raster Layer
Select the shape tool again
Draw another rectangle just inside the paper rectangle
Line Width 1 fill transparent
Right Click on that layer and choose Convert to Raster
Grab your Magic Wand and select inside this rectangle
Layers>New Raster Layer
Grab your fill tool and set it to the Gradient Lurks Grad 32
Fill the selection with this gradient
Drage this below the main white rectangle layer
Add text to the poster(Can be whatever you want)
Convert the text to a Raster Layer

Now the missing bricks
I have just done this in one small place but it could be done anywhere
Grab your lasso selection tool
Set the style to point to point feather - 0
Select round a group of bricks. (I found if you zoom into the canvas getting it tight to the "mortar" was nice and easy)
Effects>3D Effects>Cut Out
Use the settings below



Add your text for your name. I used ÄggstockGravid size 72 stroke 1 coloured white main colour black
Convert this to a Raster Layer, save the PSPimage and export
